Dr. Wanda O. Wallace Born on October 8, 1958 in Oklahoma City, OK to Julius and Juanita Cudjoe, she is one of six sisters and one brother. Dr. Wallace graduated from North East High School in 1976. She attended St. Mary Christian Methodist Episcopal Church while growing up in Oklahoma City. Dr. Wallace also attended Rose State Jr. College where she studied speech communications until 1978. While in college, Dr. Wanda’s best friend introduced her to Reach-out Outreach Christian Center non-denomination Ministry. It was there were Dr. Wallace began to learn more about God and His Son. Within six months God touched her life tremendously. Dr. Wallace was reborn, and her inner-man (her spirit ) was renewed on the inside. At that moment, she knew the Holy Spirit had changed her.
Dr. Wallace continued going to Reach-out Outreach Christian Center until God relocated her in 1983. The family relocated to Langley Air Force Base, VA. From 1983 to 1990. While there, Dr. Wallace attended Victory Life Church in Hampton, VA under Pastor Phil Privette, Dr. Wallace completed classes in Spiritual Authority, Salvation, Counseling in Ministry, and Prayer Counseling.
In 1990 the Lord relocated her and family to San Vito Dei Normanni Air Station, Italy. There Dr. Wallace worked as a Sunday school teacher and a lay minister under the guidance of Chaplain George R. Washington. Wanda began to carry out her assignment from God. She was a lay minister for the United States Air Force and taught Bible classes, Sunday School, salvation classes, teaching seminars, prayer classes and praise and worship. Through her leadership, the Word spread to people and they subsequently were saved, set free and delivered.
In May 1991 she received her certificate of Ministry and License from Bible Way Church of Deliverance in Naples San Vito Air Station, Italy under Pastor Charles F. Hendricks. She later moved to Montgomery, AL and worked under Maj Eddie Walker as layman minister for the United States Air Force Base Chaplin at Maxwell, Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, AL. Dr. Wanda also worked with many local churches in the local community. While living in Montgomery she fellowshipped at Christian Life Church under Pastor Stephen E. Vickers and served as a Prayer Counselor and Care Giver lead Assistant. Wanda was blessed to sit up under the teachings of Dr. Creflo A. Dollar for seven years as she traveled two hours on Sunday morning to attend church in Atlanta, Georgia.
In her younger years Dr. Wallace loved to listen to Kenneth Copeland, Charles Capps and Kenneth E. Hagin which is where a great deal of her biblical teachings derived. So, with all that background and knowledge, God commanded her to “put the vision in place.”
In the fall of 1994, God instructed Dr. Wallace to finish her education so she in rolled in RHEMA Corresponding Bible School in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she earned her Diploma in Biblical Studies. Dr. Wallace, then started an Outreach Ministry to teach the people how to live out the Word of God, every day, step by step, with the Word of God as their guide. Her vision was to help people change, from the inside out, through the Word of God. Subsequently, in Nov of 1995, Dr. Wallace was ordained and received her License of Qualification under Harvester Christian Fellowship in Crossville, TN.
Since than Dr. Wallace has received her bachelor’s in Biblical Studies, a Master of Ministry, and a Doctorate in Ministry from Omega Bible Institute & Seminary. In addition, she is the CEO and Founder of Changing Garment Ministries International Inc. Of note, in June of 2008, Dr. Wallace received an Honorary Membership as she was recognized in Biltmore Who’s Who Registry of executives and professionals.
God has instructed Dr. Wallace to teach the Body of Christ the Word of God with wisdom. CGMI Ministries is rooted in wisdom and understanding with the goal of being applied and producing in believer’s lives day to day.
Setting the stage for today’s ministries, in June of 2000, the Lord relocated her and family back to Hampton Virginia. Dr. Wallace has worked 23 years for the Department of Defense and the Office Personnel Management (OPM). She has acquired vast experience in supervising and administering Military and Federal Civil Service placement tests. In addition, in July of 2012, she started with the Department of the Navy working with the Family Advocate Program. as an Office Automation Assistant, aiding military families in the local community. This experience has proved vital in the conduct of administrative affairs for CGMI.
Dr. Wallace is a visionary leader whose mission is to empower believers through teaching and preaching the uncompromised Word of God to fulfill their highest calling and change the world through Jesus Christ. In March of 2004, Changing Garments Ministries held their first Conference in Hampton, VA. Since then, Dr. Wallace has helped other churches in the Hampton Roads area start their first women conferences.
Dr. Wallace is the author of Marriage and Divorce: Its Impact on Society and the Church, and the Life of Christ. She is an experienced conference speaker, teacher and minister of the gospel who loves helping people live their life to the fullest.
Dr. Wallace is the wife of Retire SMSGT Gary Wallace and the mother of three beautiful children: Shanda K. Brand, Lakeetha D. Mitchell, and Lt. Col John S. Wallace; She has six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
To date, Dr. Wallace continues to minister and preach the Word of Jesus Christ as called.
